Sydney, NSW – November 10, 2024 – A Captivating Afternoon of Music and Dance at the Wild Swans Ballet Charity Concert

On Sunday, November 10, 2024, the iconic Sydney Town Hall was transformed into a breathtaking stage for the Wild Swans Ballet Charity Concert, a spectacular event in support of the Children’s Tumour Foundation. From 2 PM to 5 PM, attendees were treated to an unforgettable cultural experience that combined the beauty of dance and music with a powerful cause.

The concert featured outstanding performances from some of Sydney’s finest ensembles, including the remarkable Epiphany Dancers Company, who brought the Wild Swans Ballet to life with mesmerizing choreography. The ballet, not performed in full since its premiere at the Sydney Opera House 20 years ago, captivated the audience with its grace and elegance.

Joining Epiphany Dancers were the NSW Police Band, Musicáno Fusion Ensemble, Inner West Youth Orchestra, Sophia Ballet, and Maxwise Academy, making the afternoon a true celebration of artistic collaboration.

Adding to the magic, renowned composer Elena Kats-Chernin led a special pre-show workshop, offering a rare glimpse into her creative process and the making of the Wild Swans ballet. It was an inspiring experience for students and enthusiasts alike.

The event raised vital funds for the Children’s Tumour Foundation, advancing research, providing support to families affected by neurofibromatosis, and promoting awareness of the condition.
