Lily Tieu
Lily has been immersed in the world of dance for 12 years, with 9 of those years dedicated to her craft at Epiphany Dance & Co. Currently, she is expanding her horizons as a full-time student at the prestigious Ev & Bow Full Time Dance Training Centre, where she continues to refine her skills and deepen her passion for dance.
Throughout her training, Lily has achieved remarkable success and demonstrated her dedication to the art form. She has earned high distinctions in her BBO jazz examinations, completed her solo seal exam, and received high marks in her Royal Academy of Dance exams. Her exceptional talent was also recognized when she earned 3rd place at the Sydney Eisteddfod.
On stage, Lily has brought to life several iconic roles in our end-of-year dance productions. She has enchanted audiences as “Alice” in Alice in Wonderland, portrayed the mischievous “Veruca Salt” in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and most recently captivated viewers as “Mal” in our rendition of Descendants.
Lily’s “Epiphany Moment” – This is the pure elation she experiences when she is fully immersed in a performance. It’s that magical moment on stage when distractions fade away, leaving only her most authentic self in the spotlight. When the lights shine brightly and the audience is captivated by the movements she creates, she feels a profound connection to the art of dance.
